Care Assistants in Banbury Job, Banbury, Oxfordshire

Rate: £ 8.50 to £ 15.30 - per hour

We have opportunities for HCA's with Nursing and Care / residential home experience who reside within the Oxford/Banbury area.
We have a number of care homes with nursing within the Banbury area, specializing in residential and dementia care.
You will be required to provide evidence of at least 6 months experience working within the relevant nursing / residential care home environment.
Duties Include:
hand washing
universal hygiene procedures
segregation and disposal of waste materials
dealing with blood and body fluid spillages
Assist patients and colleagues in adopting sound infection control measures
Know the general principles of first aid and resuscitation to be able to undertake initial actions as appropriate
Know the health and safety policies and procedures within the workplace, including fire procedures, maintaining documentation, monitoring and maintaining of equipment and furniture within your area of responsibility
