Our client are one of the leading independent healthcare providers in the UK. They own and operate over 400care centres and nursing homes, employing over 21,000people. Thier care homes and nursing homes are unique and offer consistently high standards of service and care. They are currently seeking a deputy nurse manager to join their 37 bed nursing home in the Ashbourne area.
You will need to be a strong deputy manager with a proven track record in leading a care team to success. You will be completely committed to a resident centred care model and be confident to guide a team of staff through the changes necessary to ensure that this becomes a reality. With strong business acumen and understanding the balance between providing excellent care driven by residents and their families. Ideally you will have a sound knowledge of CSCI standards and a record of working within this framework. This position requires someone who has an operational knowledge of HR practices and understands how these relate to the care home working environment.
Candidates will be RGM/RMN qualified, with knowledge of dementia care and a minimum of one years supervisory experience within a similar environment.
