Deputy Home Manager – Battersea – 30-34K

Our client, a leading provider of healthcare services, have around 18,000homes for more than 30,000people across the UK. They work in partnership with local authorities, organisations and residents to create safe, sustainable communities. We are currently seeking a highly experienced nurse manager their 33 bed nursing unit with dementia care in the Battersea area.

You will need to be an exceptionally strong deputy manager with a proven track record in leading a care team to success. You will be completely committed to a resident centred care model and be confident to guide a team of staff through the changes necessary to ensure that this becomes a reality. With strong business acumen and understanding the balance between providing excellent care driven by residents and their families. Ideally you will have a sound knowledge of CSCI standards and a record of working within this framework. This position requires someone who has an operational knowledge of contemporary Human Resource practices and understands how these relate to the care home working environment. You will need to be a team player, willing to take on a challenge and demonstrate clearly a desire to make the care home a flagship for dementia care within our organisation.

Ideal candidates will hold a current nursing qualifications, an RMA would be an advantage. You will have minimum of two years experience of managing team a similar care service. In return you will receive a generous salary, 9-5 hours with some weekend cover, 33 days holiday and a company pension and life insurance scheme.
