This is an exciting new opportunity for a Support Worker to work for a one of the largest care adult social care charity in the UK. The organisation delivers diverse support and care services in a number of settings including supported living for people with learning disabilities and/or mental health concerns; residential and nursing care for older people; treatment for substance misuse and accommodation for homelessness.
This organisation is looking for a support worker to work within a service that holds 7 residents with learning disabilities. You will be covering all aspects of 24 hour care including; personal care, cleaning, cooking and taking the clients out into the community to take part in activities.
This role requires someone who has either experience as a support worker or someone with a strong desire to work with people with learning disabilities. You must be able to demonstrate that you can keep calm in a pressurised situation and be genuine and passionate about working in the care sector.
The shift patterns are; 8am - 3pm, 3pm - 10pm and 10pm - 8am. There will also be sleep In's with a one off payment of £30.
